Hammermill RHM

Hammermill is one of the most characteristic constructions of machines milling through collision. It is suitable for crushing corn, aggregate materials, 40 – 50 mm long dry, shredded crop and other similar materials. The machine features hammers mounted on a drum and rotating at a high speed. The hammers are surrounded by screens. The material to be milled usually enters the machine from above and the milled material leaves through the screens. The four rows of hammers are held by circle-shaped plates, the plates are fixed onto a shaft. The shaft of the revolving part is linked to the engine-shaft via a clutch. The shredding structure and the screens are inside the housing. Both the housing and the engine are mounted onto a section steel pedestal. Vibration dampening is achieved through four rubber springs mounted onto the section steel pedestal.
